Key responsibilities

Perform inspections and repairs: Conduct routine checks on equipment and facilities, and troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise. This includes tasks related to plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning). Assist with installation: Help with the installation of new equipment and facilities under the guidance of senior technicians. Emergency response: Be available to respond to emergencies, protect guests and associates, and handle system malfunctions. Maintain tools and equipment: Clean, lubricate, and maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel to ensure they are in good working order. Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders and logs. Ensure safety: Follow safety protocols and company procedures while performing all maintenance tasks and ensure a clean and organized work area.

Required skills and qualifications

Technical skills: A basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems is often required. Knowledge of HVAC systems is also beneficial. Hands-on ability: Proficiency with hand and power tools is essential. Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are needed to diagnose and fix issues. Physical fitness: The ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various physical conditions.
