Burns & McDonnell India is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support and execute civil design projects in the rapidly growing Energy department. Burns & McDonnell is inviting young and dynamic youth to participate in this great culture. Civil / Structural Engineers will be involved in the analysis and design of various structures & other civil-related activities in power projects. This position allows you to challenge and grow professionally within one of the industry's leading firms.


Responsibilities and Duties:


Work with Senior Engineers and other team members to execute project deliverables and develop your career via peer learning. Engineering design of pile foundations, raft and spread footing Engineering design of Pre-Engineered metal building & foundation Engineering design of Equipment foundation. (Static & Dynamic) Engineering of Structural Steel pipe racks and Equipment supporting Technological structures, including connection Retrofitting of existing structures in Powerplants Use SP3D / Tekla/ Nevis as a Structure Review software to check the 3D model Use software like RISA 3D, Risa Foundation, Risa Connection, StaadPro, Mat 3D, Navis works, and SP3D Plan and develop a detailed design for site layout, site grading, storm drainage, SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan), roads, rail, ponds, ash landfill, and other civil-related components, as well as underground coordination with other disciplines and permitting support Hydraulics calculation for the stormwater drain Use 3D CAD software to generate surfaces, road & rail alignments, pipe networks, cut & fill quantities, corridors, manage styles, and template development Comply with code/guidelines and regulations, safety etc., and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required Interaction with US counterparts

Qualifications

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Civil Engineering Must have good communication skills and interpersonal skills Software like Staadpro & Autocad Added Advantage of Internship & Vocational training and Extra-Curricular activities participation
