Urban Acres Infomediatech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a curious, detail-oriented

Trainee Researcher-Journalist

to support editorial research, reporting, and content development across its media and urban development platforms. This role is ideal for early-career professionals aspiring to build strong foundations in research-driven journalism, data-backed storytelling, and policy-relevant reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct background research for news stories, features, interviews, and reports. Assist journalists and editors with fact-checking, data validation, and source verification. Support reporting on real estate, infrastructure, urban development, sustainability, and policy-related topics. Compile research notes, briefing documents, interview prep materials, and story outlines. Assist in data collection, market studies, trend analysis, and report preparation. Coordinate with editorial, digital, and video teams for integrated storytelling. Maintain accuracy, objectivity, and editorial integrity in all research outputs. Archive research materials, references, and source documents systematically.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Journalism, Mass Communication, Economics, Urban Studies, Public Policy, or a related field. Strong research, reading, and analytical skills. Good written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret reports, data, and policy documents. Basic understanding of news cycles, editorial processes, and journalistic ethics. Proficiency in MS Word, Google Docs, and basic research tools.
