Role Overview
As a Trainee Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of our resort, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive. This role offers hands-on training in front desk operations, guest communication, and hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
Assist with check-in/check-out procedures using our booking system
Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person
Maintain front desk cleanliness and readiness
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for guest requests
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
Learn and follow resort policies, safety protocols, and service standards
Skills & Attributes
Friendly, courteous, and well-groomed demeanor
Strong communication skills in English and local languages
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, booking software)
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
Ability to handle guest concerns with patience and professionalism
Qualifications
Minimum: SSLC or PUC (12th standard)
Hospitality or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
Freshers welcome--training will be provided
