A Medical Coding Associate (MCA) at WWS you will be responsible for assigning the appropriate code to describe a particular type of service to a patient. Ensuring that the codes are appropriately applied during the insurance billing process, including removing the information from documentation, assigning the appropriate codes, and creating a claim for reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret medical records and clinical documentation
Assign accurate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines
Support clean claim creation for insurance reimbursement
Eligibility & Skills Required:
Life Science graduate
Minimum 6 months of work experience in any field
CPC (Certified Professional Coder - AAPC) certification is an added advantage
Proficient in computer applications
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is an advantage
Strong communication and analytical skills
Prior experience in healthcare, medical billing, or medical coding is a plus
