Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using various measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Documentation and Reporting:
Document and report inspection results, issues, and deviations from quality standards (non-conformities).
Problem Solving:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, suppliers) to identify the root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using problem-solving approaches like 8D or the 7 QC tools.
Standards and Compliance:
Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001 standards.
Process Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S) to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Audits:
Support internal and external quality audits.
Calibration:
Monitor and maintain the calibration process for testing and measuring equipment.
