Job Description

• condition of employment requires knowledge and conformance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as applicable to the position
• Provide clear expectations to all manufacturing personnel while holding them accountable for achieving established goals Serve as safety model
• Promote a high level of safety awareness and continuous improvement in safety practices
• Responsible for managing budgeted line items related to the department
• Assist executive team in setting and monitoring production performance targets both short and long term
• Maintain appropriate records and complete necessary reports in a timely manner
• Network with Production Planner to ensure customer ship dates are achieved
• Implement best practices required to ensure efficient production flow and to help design a future state production line to increase capacity
• Lead productivity improvement teams to recommend, develop, and implement measures to improve productivity and maximize efficiency
• Organize and improve material storage and flow to eliminate losses and improve efficiencies
• Complete other duties and tasks as assigned
