Job Description

Responsible for making Sales Proposal based on preliminary engineering, drawings for the entire proposal.

Responsible for making Cost estimation of entire Proposals / tenders based on the details of the application.

Responsible for Detailed Engineering and BOM for the estimations.

Responsible for Coordination between Design and Sales Team.

Responsible for appropriate folder maintenance & management / revisions etc. of proposals made as per established guidelines.

Responsible for studying of proposal/tender specifications & working on developing an appropriate offer / proposal after engaging in discussions with Sales team / Sales / Design & Marketing Head.

Responsible for coordinating with the draughtsman for GA, P & ID drawings that needs to be prepared during the proposal stage.

Responsible for the handling, maintenance & control of all documents relating to Proposal / Estimation.

Responsible for the assigning of a proposal number for tracking & monitoring of all the related documents and updating them on file (hard copies / soft copies).

Responsible for follow up (in joint consensus with sales) with client of proposals quoted, attending meetings i.e. travelling with sales head / marketing head for discussion / finalization of orders if required.

Responsible for the preparation of the price estimate of the system. Both budgetary & detailed pricing.

Assistance in preparation of the MIS report (to Assistant Manager-Sales & Proposals, Marketing) mentioning the status of the active proposals. This shall be updated on everyday basis and produced once in a month to your senior.

Obtaining Prices for bought out items and outsourced equipments and to prepare a data - base for future use and to continuously updating the same.

To prepare and update a master price sheet with budgetary / final prices of manufactured / BOI items.
