Help with maintenance of machines like gearboxes, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and ink pumps.
Support senior fitters during preventive and breakdown maintenance jobs.
Learn to use tools like drilling machines, angle grinders, and welding machines (with proper guidance).
Assist in daily checks and small repair work for utilities such as thermopack, chiller, air compressor, EOT cranes, and fire-fighting systems.
Learn how to read mechanical drawings and understand how different parts fit and work together.
Get hands-on experience with measuring tools like vernier calipers and micrometers.
Skills & Competencies:
Be eager to learn and show interest in maintenance work.
Follow instructions carefully and ask questions when unsure.
Keep your tools clean and take care of the workplace.
Always follow safety rules and wear proper PPE (gloves, helmet, shoes, etc.).
Have a positive attitude and be ready to work in shifts if needed.
