We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Engineers to join our Water Supply Projects team. This entry-level position offers recent engineering graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design, construction, and management of water supply systems. The trainee will work under the guidance of experienced engineers and contribute to a variety of project phases, from planning to implementation.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and layout of water supply infrastructure such as pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, and treatment units.
Support the preparation of technical drawings, design reports, and project documentation.
Conduct basic site surveys, data collection, and analysis related to hydraulic and civil works.
Participate in hydraulic modeling and system analysis using appropriate software under supervision.
Attend site visits and inspections to gain practical exposure to construction practices and quality control.
Assist in monitoring construction progress and maintaining project records.
Learn and apply relevant engineering codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, and environmental engineers.
Perform other tasks as assigned to support the successful execution of water supply projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or final year student)/ Diploma in Civil, electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong interest in water supply, infrastructure development, or public health engineering.
Basic understanding of water distribution systems, hydraulics, and construction principles.
Familiarity with software tools like AutoCAD, MS Office, and hydraulic modeling platforms (a plus).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and work both in the office and on project sites.
