About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Trainee Engineer

to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong basics in engineering concepts and hands-on experience in

AutoCAD drafting

. This role offers excellent learning opportunities and on-the-job exposure to real engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior engineers and designers in preparing

2D drawings

, layouts, and design documentation. Create, modify, and update

AutoCAD drawings

as per project requirements. Support in

material estimation, measurements, and report preparation

. Maintain drawing accuracy, scale, and engineering standards. Coordinate with project, design, and production teams for smooth workflow. Learn company-specific design processes, engineering methods, and quality standards. Perform any additional tasks assigned by reporting managers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / BE in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Engineering (or related field).

Proficiency in AutoCAD

. Good understanding of engineering drawings and basic design principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and learning mindset. Ability to work under guidance and meet timelines. Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

Knowledge of steel structures / PEB / fabrication drawings (added advantage). Internship or project work using AutoCAD.
