Job Responsibilities:

Assist in the production and assembly of furniture components on the shop floor. Work closely with the production supervisor to understand machine operations, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. Help in preparing bills of materials (BOM), job cards, and production reports. Support in layout planning, process optimization, and cost-saving initiatives. Learn and operate woodworking machinery and tools (e.g., panel saws, edge banding, CNC machines). Conduct basic quality checks during and after the manufacturing process. Coordinate with design, purchase, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow. Adhere to safety standards and company policies.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or BE in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering / Wood Technology or related fields. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tools. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and work on the shop floor. Proficiency in MS Office; CAD knowledge is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

Exposure to AutoCAD or similar design software. Internship or project experience in manufacturing or furniture domain. Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S practices.

Career Path:

Selected candidates will be trained across various departments (Production, Quality, Design, Planning) and may be absorbed in permanent roles such as Production Engineer, Quality Inspector, or Planning Executive based on performance.

Salary:

18k to 20k

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
