Creating computer models of products and processes to test design concepts and simulate performance before they are built or used
Using computer programs such as MathCAD, MATLAB, and ANSYS to build models that simulate real-life events and conditions
Developing and implementing mathematical models to solve complex engineering problems
Conducting research on new technologies and techniques to improve existing designs
Communicating with engineers to discuss design details or implementation of models
Analyzing complex data to identify risks, opportunities for improvement, and other trends
Preparing reports and presentations on findings and recommendations

A postgraduate degree (M.S. or higher) in CFD/Mechanical Engg/Aerospace Engg/Thermal Engineering/Energy Engineering
1-4 years experience of the application of simulation techniques to product development in an industrial setting
Expertise working with industry-application CFD software preferable (ANSYS/StarCCM/COMSOL etc.)
A strong background in multiphase flow simulations
Experience with high performance computing is preferable
Team-player with the capability to handle projects independently with little/no guidance
