JOB DESCRIPTION

Position

:Trainee Chemist

1. Testing and reporting the results of allotted samples.

2. To plan, understand and complete the allocated work within the stipulated time with accuracy and precision strictly as per relevant International and National standards & SOP's in coordination with respective TL/TM.

3. Authorized to handle UV spectrophotometer

4. Result entry of the samples analyzed.

5. Evaluation of samples with reference to the different protocols

6. Maintaining the respective logbooks

7. To be accountable for the preparation and maintenance of reference standards - their stock solutions and working solutions and maintain the record of the same. Prepare chemical solutions for the use in processing samples following standardized formulas or experimental procedures.

8. To keep the chemicals, reagents and supplies in the safe way to maintain the integrity of their properties and keep yourself updated with the requirements of MSDS.

9. To check the consumables and supplies in for the suitability for the required standard of analysis.

10. To remove the expired, no longer required material from the lab and dispose them in safe way.

11. Internal Verification, Intermediate check & Maintenance of Instruments & Equipments and ensure daily monitoring of environmental Temperature & Humidity.

12. Ensure the performance of the equipment/instrument before going to use it. If any SOP needs to be changed, it is duty to bring this to the notice of TL.

13. To ensure all the work conducted in the section, meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, accreditation bodies' specific criteria, ATL quality management system and technical requirements including yourself.

14. Responsibility for the technical validity of results including statements of conformity or opinions and interpretations

15. Development, modification, verification and validation of methods

16. Review of test reports and authorization of results

17. Not to interfere with or misuse any facilities, equipment or apparatus provided for health, fire, safety or welfare purposes

18. Ensure strict PPE compliance and guideline

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
