Job Description

The Trail Room Security Guard is responsible for maintaining safety and security within the changing room (trail room) areas of a retail store or similar facility. This role includes preventing theft, protecting customers and staff, monitoring suspicious activities, and ensuring company policies are followed in trail room usage.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the entrance and exit of the trail room area. Count garments before customers enter and after they exit to prevent theft. Ensure that only a permitted number of items are taken into the trail room. Watch for suspicious behavior or security risks and respond appropriately. Communicate effectively with store staff regarding potential shoplifting or policy violations. Escort individuals to trail rooms when necessary and ensure the space is clean and safe. Operate surveillance equipment when assigned. Handle customer concerns or incidents in a professional and discreet manner. Report all incidents or security breaches to the Security Supervisor. Maintain logs of daily activities and incident reports
