: Traffic Incharge - Market Vehicle Placement

Position Overview:

The Traffic Incharge for Market Vehicle Placement will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely placement of vehicles for transportation needs in the market. This role involves coordinating with transporters, managing vehicle availability, and ensuring optimal fleet utilization to meet market demand. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a deep understanding of logistics operations, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate daily vehicle placement to meet transportation requirements for the market.

- Liaise with transporters, vendors, and drivers to ensure the timely availability of vehicles.

- Monitor vehicle availability, movement, and schedules to optimize fleet utilization.

- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements for vehicle operations.

- Collaborate with the operations team to understand market demands and adjust vehicle placement accordingly.

- Address any issues related to vehicle delays, shortages, or breakdowns and provide solutions promptly.

- Maintain records of vehicle placements, utilization, and performance metrics.

- Implement and monitor safety and compliance protocols for all vehicle operations.

- Provide regular updates to management on vehicle availability and transportation performance.

- Manage relationships with transport partners to ensure a smooth supply chain and address any operational challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

- Proven experience in traffic management, logistics, or transportation operations.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with drivers, transporters, and internal teams.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

- Proficiency in using logistics and fleet management software is a plus.

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick and effective decisions.
