Position Overview
ARASPL Steels Private Limited is looking for an experienced
Traffic Controller
with strong exposure to
steel material logistics and dispatch operations
. The role involves complete coordination of vehicle movement, loading-unloading activities, and effective communication with drivers, transporters, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely and safe delivery of steel materials.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, monitor, and control
vehicle movement
for steel dispatch and inward logistics
Coordinate
loading and unloading
of steel materials such as TMT bars, structural steel, plates, pipes, coils, billets, and fabricated items
Ensure proper
weight compliance, stacking, securing, and safety norms
during loading
Maintain continuous coordination with
drivers, transporters, crane operators, and site supervisors
Communicate with
clients/customers
regarding dispatch schedules, delivery status, and unloading arrangements
Track vehicles via calls / GPS and ensure
on-time delivery
Handle
route planning
, delay management, breakdown issues, and emergency coordination
Ensure proper documentation including
invoice, e-way bill, challan, LR, gate pass
Coordinate with
Dispatch, Stores, Sales, and Accounts
departments
Maintain daily
traffic movement register, MIS reports, and vehicle records
Resolve disputes related to
shortage, damage, unloading delay, or detention charges
