Key Responsibilities:
Conduct trademark searches, filings, and prosecutions before the Indian Trademark Registry.
Draft and file oppositions, counter-statements, rectifications, and other related pleadings.
Prepare legal submissions, evidence, and written arguments for trademark matters.
Handle renewal, assignment, and portfolio management of trademarks.
Liaise with clients, IP offices, and external counsels for case updates and clarifications.
Provide legal opinions and strategic advice on brand protection and infringement issues.
Support litigation and enforcement matters related to intellectual property.
Requirements:
Law degree (LLB) from a recognized institution; additional qualification in IP law is a plus*. 1-3 years (or more) experience in trademark prosecution, opposition, portfolio management.
Candidate must have good research skills along with great communication and writing capabilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable using MS Office, email, internet.
Prior registration as a Trademark Agent / Attorney is preferred.
