About the team
FIS(TM) Protegent helps compliance officers cope with increasing data volumes, understand more sophisticated product risks, stay ahead of evolving regulations and rapidly respond to ongoing demands from auditors and regulators. What you will be doing
You will be a part of the FIS Compliance Suite (formerly Protegent) team, as a product manager on the FIS Market Surveillance Manager Solution. As a product manager, you will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, planning out product releases and working directly with clients to define the strategy and vision for the Market Surveillance Manager solution. You will work directly with our pre-sales and sales solution consultants, client experience and account management teams, as well as directly with our existing clients, across the globe, to define the product roadmap priorities and work on business expansion for the product. You will also work with the development manager and product owner to help execute the product vision and strategy and define the roadmap based on resource availabilities. You will also be responsible for market research, staying on top or changing market regulations and planning for regulatory changes in response to compliance regulatory changes across the world.
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
12+ years of experience working in trade surveillance and market manipulation domain, as an SME/Product Owner/Business Analyst
In depth knowledge of the market manipulation rules, including FINRA regulations, MAR/MIFID and other global market manipulation rules for exchange traded products such as Equities and Equity derivatives, commodity futures, indexes, etc
Knowledge of regulatory scenario for Fixed income instruments, FX Code of Conduct, Interest Rates, etc.
Experience working with product development teams, including managing product deliveries and Agile SCRUM teams
Knowledge of Roadmap planning software such as Aha! and issue tracking and agile project management software such as Jira
Strong command over order and trade life cycle, including knowledge of Order Routing and Trade execution
Knowledge of global exchange and OTC market data
Experience working directly with clients to capture and understand business requirements, presenting roadmaps, etc.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated expertise at working with technical and business experts from clients, including traders, compliance users and investment bank
Experience analysing and understanding functional requirements
Strong problem solving, debugging & analytical skills, ability to work independently with minimum guidance
Good team player
Self-motivated and self-learner
Ability to work independently, take ownership, lead and drive
Willingness to work across all areas of product life cycle, from requirements gathering to unit testing and application deployment
Qualifications
Bachelors in Computers Science or equivalent
Competencies
Fluent in English
Excellent communicator - ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
