What You Will Do The position is responsible for:
  • Being an Export Lead, who provides strong support in managing the entire Export Operations for Kenvue. The lead will be supporting to drive Export operations within the space of cross functional team, affiliates, non-affiliates, Supply Chain & Planning Organisation.
  • The primary responsibility of this individual is to plan, lead and harmonise Export Operations activities and milestones while ensuring no disruption towards daily operations & business.
  • This role reports to the ASPAC Associate Director Trade Operations \xe2\x80\x93 India /APAC Deliver Special Projects The individual will collaborate closely with all Affiliate and non-affiliate market\xe2\x80\x99s Deliver and Trade Operation/Compliance leads, and other functions to ensure seamless operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage & Lead Export compliance activities in \xe2\x80\x9ccountry\xe2\x80\x9d/markets adhering to the (including records keeping, accurate customs declarations, shipping documentations correctness, etc
  • Develop SOPs & Process to ensure are deployed into the market and ensure the SOPs are being kept updated to reflect the new processes.
  • Liaison with Customs Authorities (relating inquiries/audits, (HS Classification, valuation) and maintain its related records/documents and evidence. Support from relevant functions to be taken.
  • Support any internal Trade Compliance audits/reviews and own any trade compliance corrective actions.
  • Manage Trade Compliance data within \xe2\x80\x9ccountry\xe2\x80\x9d (eg., HS Codes listing of the imported and exported products, non-compliance cost, etc) and ensure data is updated in the master database (SAP and/or Trade Automation system).
  • Evaluate and maintain Special Trade Programs such as Free Trade Agreements and Duty Deferment programs that can improve the financial position of the organization in the market, while ensuring compliance.
  • Attending Trade Compliance training and seminars (both internally and/or externally hosted) and provide awareness to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Monitor and communicate to stakeholders any Customs and Trade Regulatory trends & changes that may have impact to Kenvue & liase with Legal & Other cross functions to bring value to business.
  • Participate in forums held by Regional Trade Compliance team and support Global/Regional Trade Compliance initiatives.
  • Sound knowledge on ASPAC Trade Compliance requirements, regulations, and impact from LENC activities towards Customs / Statutory Bodies Rules & Regulations & understanding of International Logistics
  • Ensures effective integration of global trade compliance processes and standards within region.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • University / bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree /PG or Equivalent
  • Import Export Management Degree preferable.
  • Minimum 3 Years Work Experience relating to Supply Chain, Trade Compliance / Operations
  • Awareness of quality / compliance, supply chain, operations, and logistics
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to work with local site teams and senior leadership, and with strong interpersonal & communication skills, who is comfortable interacting with senior business leaders



Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge in the application of trade and customs regulations for India markets is highly desirable
  • Cross-functional experience, with at least one supply chain pillar (Plan, Make, Source, and/or Deliver)
  • Experience interacting and collaborating with teams across business functions and regions
  • Process oriented with strong critical thinking / problem-solving skills
  • Results oriented and able to independently create and deliver; self-starter / entrepreneurial
