We're on the lookout for a talented Financial and Trade Specialist to join our dynamic team here at C&D Pharma. If you're someone who thrives in the fast-paced world of finance and international trade, and you're ready to take on a role that blends accounting expertise with hands-on export operations, this could be the perfect fit. You'll be the go-to person for managing our financials while driving our global trade activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly from paperwork to payments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day financial and accounting tasks, like budgeting, preparing reports, and handling audits to keep our books in top shape.

- Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory filings on time, making sure we're always compliant and transparent.

- Keep our financial records organized and up-to-date, with a keen eye on documentation to meet all legal standards.

- Manage tax obligations, staying on top of both local and international tax rules to avoid any surprises.

- Monitor cash flow and our overall financial health, spotting ways to optimize and grow.

- Take charge of all import-export transactions, from negotiating deals to processing payments and ensuring timely deliveries.

- Coordinate closely with logistics partners, customs officials, and freight forwarders to handle shipments efficiently and resolve any hiccups.

- Prepare and manage all necessary export paperwork, including invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and compliance documents for international regulations.

- Stay ahead of import-export laws, trade agreements, tariffs, and foreign exchange fluctuations to support our exporting efforts and minimize risks.

- Work hand-in-hand with our management team to craft financial strategies that fuel business decisions and expansion.

- Build and nurture relationships with banks, insurers, and other partners to secure the best terms for trade finance tools like letters of credit or export credits.

- Keep an eye on global financial markets and trade trends, identifying opportunities or potential pitfalls that could impact our operations.

- Provide insightful financial analysis to help us navigate growth, especially in emerging markets.

- Assist in securing export incentives, managing duties, and ensuring adherence to trade sanctions and pharma-specific export guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or something similar--bonus if you're a Chartered Accountant or hold certifications in trade finance

- Solid hands-on experience in finance, accounting, and especially import-export operations in a merchant exporter setting.

- Deep knowledge of international trade practices, import-export regulations, customs procedures, and foreign exchange management.

- Proficiency with accounting software (like Zoho Books or Tally) and the full Microsoft Office Suite--Excel/ Word

- The ability to juggle multiple priorities independently or as part of our close-knit team.

- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines in a busy export environment.
