We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Trade Desk Executive with strong experience in Agro commodities and proven skills in outbound sales. The ideal candidate should be able to generate leads, build client relationships, coordinate trade operations, and support the sales team in driving business growth across international markets. If the candidate has experience specifically in rice trading, it will be an added advantage and highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development :
Handle outbound sales calls, lead generation, and client outreach for agro commodities (mandatory).
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing buyers internationally.
Understand client requirements and coordinate pricing, product availability, and trade-related queries.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
2. Trade Desk Activities
Manage day-to-day trading operations, inquiries, and order follow-ups.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, documentation, and finance teams for seamless execution.
Prepare offers, price lists, and sales quotations.
Track commodity prices, market trends, and competitor activities.
3. Client Coordination & Support
Provide timely updates to clients on shipment status, availability, and execution.
Maintain customer database, follow-up schedules, and sales records.
Handle customer complaints and ensure high satisfaction levels.
4. Market Intelligence
Monitor Agro commodity markets (especially rice and other related products).
Gather and share insights on demand, supply, pricing trends, and international opportunities.
Key Requirements
Mandatory: Minimum 2 years of experience in Agro commodities trading / sales.
Mandatory: Strong experience in outbound sales / lead generation.
Preferred: Experience in rice trading will be highly valued.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of export processes, shipping terms, and global markets. ? Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical and coordination abilities. Preferred Skills
Experience in rice, pulses, grains, spices, or other agro commodities.
Exposure to Middle East, Africa, or Asian markets.
Understanding of Incoterms, freight rates, and basic export documentation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
