The Trade Acquisition Manager is responsible for sourcing and onboarding
new Trade Current Account customers
for DCB Bank. The role focuses on acquiring high-value SMEs, traders, manufacturers, importers/exporters, and professionals who require trade and high-limit current account services.
Key Responsibilities
Source and acquire
new Trade Current Accounts
through field visits, cold calls, references, and market mapping.
Identify and onboard SMEs, corporates, traders, and high-value B2B clients.
Generate business leads for
LC, BG, Import/Export remittances, Forex services, and OD limits
.
Achieve monthly targets for account acquisition, activation, and trade product cross-sell.
Ensure smooth onboarding, KYC, and documentation as per bank policy.
Maintain strong customer engagement during initial activation period.
Work closely with branches and internal teams for service coordination.
Candidate Requirements
1-5 years
of experience in
Trade Current Account sourcing / SME Banking / Corporate CA acquisition
.
Strong field-sales background with a proven track record in business acquisition.
Working knowledge of trade products such as
LC/BG, OD, remittances, Forex
preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to independently generate leads and close acquisition opportunities.
