Track Manager - Sun Solaris, Jumpstart AI, Zones, LDOM

Job Summary
This role oversees complex Solaris-based infrastructure operations, driving service excellence and operational efficiency for enterprise environments. The individual empowers technical teams, ensures alignment with client SLAs, and embeds continuous improvement by leveraging advanced skills in Sun Solaris, Jumpstart AI, Zones, and LDOM technologies to deliver resilient and optimized IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead advanced administration and optimization of Sun Solaris environments by configuring and managing Solaris Zones and LDOMs to ensure high availability and system performance.
2. Oversee automated provisioning and deployment using Jumpstart AI, streamlining server builds and patch management for large-scale enterprise environments.
3. Apply expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis using Solaris diagnostic tools to resolve complex incidents and minimize downtime.
4. Drive process improvement by evaluating and implementing best practices in Solaris operations and automation, resulting in enhanced efficiency and compliance with client SLAs.
5. Mentor and empower team members by sharing expert knowledge in Solaris administration and guiding problem-solving approaches within the support team.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate client requirements into effective technical solutions using Sun Solaris and Jumpstart AI, ensuring delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
7. Champion innovation by introducing new tools, automation frameworks, or methodologies for Solaris support and operations.
Skill Requirements
1. Advanced Proficiency In Automated Provisioning And Deployment Using Jumpstart Ai.
2. Excellent Troubleshooting And Root Cause Analysis Skills With Solaris System Diagnostic Tools.
3. Advanced Knowledge Of EnterpriseScale Operations Management And Process Improvement Within Solaris Environments.
4. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Guide And Mentor Teams In Technical ProblemSolving And Operational Excellence.
5. Strong Experience With Scripting (Shell, Perl) For Automation In Solaris Environments.
