Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced TPS Developer with a strong background in PCB design and

development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing complex multilayer PCB

boards, maintaining component databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This role requires proficiency in tools like Cadence OrCad, Multisim, Altium Designer, and

Eagle, along with a deep understanding of industry standards and testing approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

1. PCB Design and Layout:

o Design and layout of rigid, complex multilayer PCB boards, including power,

analog, and digital PCBs.

o Develop and maintain a comprehensive component database, including

schematic symbol and footprint libraries with various packages.

o Apply knowledge of routing circuits, including RF signals, high-speed

interfaces, communication protocols, impedance-controlled traces, thermal

designs, DC-DC power supplies, and high-density mixed-signal

microcontroller boards.

2. PCB Debugging and Fault Finding:

o Conduct fault finding and debugging of PCBs, utilizing JTAG, ICFT, OCFT,

and ICT testing approaches.

o Experience in handling ATE for PCB TPS development.

3. Tool Proficiency:

o Proficient in using PCB layout tools such as Cadence OrCad, Multisim,

Altium Designer, and Eagle.

o Analyze technical requirements and customer inputs to execute PCB reverse

engineering projects.

4. Standards and Compliance:

o Knowledge of IPC standards library development and layout, including IPC-

7351, IPC-2221, and IPC-A-610.

o Plan multi-layer stack-ups and set constraints effectively.

o Implement design considerations and techniques for EMI/EMC, thermal, and

mechanical performance enhancement.

5. Documentation and Collaboration:

o Generate Gerber files and prepare assembly documents, including ODB++

data, BOMs, and fabrication & assembly drawings.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware designers,

mechanical engineers, and PCB fabricators.

o Develop and generate complete electrical wiring harness designs and

associated 2D drawings.

Key Result Areas:

1. Test Program Suite Development:

o Develop and manage test program suites for PCB testing and validation.

2. Client and Stakeholder Communication:

o Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders to

ensure project alignment and success.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.

? Proven experience in PCB design, fault finding, and reverse engineering.

? Strong knowledge of industry standards (IPC-7351, IPC-2221, IPC-A-610).

? Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (Cadence OrCad, Multisim, Altium

Designer, Eagle).

? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

? Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

? Experience with high-speed circuit design and layout.

? Familiarity with ATE for PCB TPS development.

? Strong understanding of EMI/EMC design considerations.
