Tourism Operations Executive
will be responsible for handling the operational aspects of travel bookings, managing client interactions, and ensuring that all logistical details of client itineraries are efficiently coordinated. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and a deep understanding of the travel industry to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Coordination:
Respond to client inquiries, assist in selecting travel options, and follow up to confirm bookings and address any concerns.
Booking & Reservations:
Manage bookings for flights, hotels, tours, and transportation, ensuring all documents (tickets, itineraries, visas) are accurately prepared and sent.
Operational Support:
Oversee daily office tasks, maintain client records, track travel schedules, and handle payment follow-ups and refunds as needed.
Problem Resolution:
Resolve issues during bookings or travel, provide solutions, and manage any last-minute itinerary changes.
Vendor Coordination:
Work with travel suppliers to secure the best rates, ensure quality service, and maintain good relationships with partners.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain reports on bookings, sales, and operational performance, and assist in improving processes based on client feedback.
Administrative Support:
Assist with preparing marketing materials, managing office correspondence, and providing general administrative assistance to the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
2-3 years in the travel and tourism industry, with experience in travel booking systems, client relations, and operational support.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and the team effectively.
Attention to Detail:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Service:
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and address client needs professionally and courteously.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with travel booking software or CRM systems.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues efficiently.
Education:
A bachelor's degree.
