Job Summary:

The Tour Package Head will be responsible for leading the tour package department, designing profitable travel packages, managing vendor relationships, supervising the operations team, and ensuring excellent customer experience from planning to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Tour Package Development-

Design, price, and manage domestic and international tour packages Create customized itineraries based on client requirements Ensure competitive pricing, cost control, and profitability

Operations & Team Management-

Lead and manage the tour package executives and operations team Allocate work, set targets, and monitor performance Ensure smooth end-to-end tour operations and service delivery

Vendor & Partner Management-

Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, DMCs, and local vendors Negotiate contracts and rates to ensure best value Maintain strong vendor relationships for service quality and reliability

Sales & Coordination-

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote tour products Support sales with product knowledge, costing, and proposals Analyze customer feedback and improve offerings accordingly

Quality & Compliance-

Ensure all tours comply with company policies and industry standards Handle escalations, customer complaints, and operational challenges Maintain documentation, itineraries, vouchers, and tour reports

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality / Business (preferred) Minimum 5-8 years of experience in tour package management Strong knowledge of domestic & international destinations Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills Proficiency in tour costing, itinerary planning, and vendor coordination Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tours simultaneously

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in handling group tours, FITs, and corporate travel Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
