Key Responsibilities:

Head and manage the Tour Package Department (Domestic & International) Plan, develop, and launch competitive tour packages based on market demand Lead, train, and supervise tour package executives and sales teams Negotiate contracts and rates with hotels, transporters, airlines, and DMCs Ensure profitability of tour packages through cost control and pricing strategies Monitor inquiries, conversions, bookings, and overall department performance Set monthly and yearly sales targets and ensure achievement Coordinate with Visa, Air Ticketing, Hotel, and Operations departments Handle key clients, corporate accounts, and high-value bookings Resolve escalated customer complaints and service issues Analyze competitor packages and travel market trends regularly Ensure proper documentation, vouchers, itineraries, and SOP compliance Prepare MIS reports, sales analysis, and management presentations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate/Post-Graduate in Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality preferred Minimum

5-8 years

of experience in tour operations, with at least

2-3 years in a leadership role

Strong knowledge of domestic and international destinations Excellent vendor negotiation and cost management skills Proven leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities Strong communication, presentation, and client-handling skills Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools Result-oriented mindset with strategic planning abilities

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Experience in a reputed travel agency or tour operator Strong industry contacts with hotels, DMCs, and ground operators Ability to scale the tour business and introduce new destinations
