Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative

Tour Package Head

to lead and manage our Domestic & International Tour Package Department. The ideal candidate should have strong destination knowledge, costing experience, vendor relations, team management skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality travel experiences to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tour Package Development

Plan, design, and develop domestic & international tour packages. Research new destinations, experiences, hotels, DMCs, and market trends. Create detailed itineraries, costing sheets, and package brochures. Ensure market-competitive pricing and profitable margins.

2. Operations & Execution

Oversee end-to-end tour operations for confirmed bookings. Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport vendors, DMCs, and local partners. Ensure smooth execution of tours and handle escalations when required. Manage bookings for transfers, sightseeing, visas, and other services.

3. Team Leadership

Lead and guide the tour package team. Assign tasks, train team members, and review daily performance. Conduct destination training and maintain updated product knowledge across the team.

4. Client Support & Sales Coordination

Assist customers with itinerary suggestions and customizations. Support the sales team with package details, offers, and marketing insights. Manage customer queries and ensure high service quality.

5. Vendor Management

Build strong relationships with hotels, airlines, DMCs, and service providers. Negotiate rates, contracts, and partnerships. Evaluate vendor performance to ensure reliability and service standards.

6. Reporting & MIS

Prepare monthly reports on package performance, sales, profitability, and trends. Analyze competitor offerings and market demand. Suggest new ideas to enhance product portfolio and revenue.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.

5-7 years of experience

in tour operations or package development (Domestic & International). Strong knowledge of destinations, itineraries, and travel planning. Proficiency in costing, vendor management, and itinerary designing. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
