Role Overview:
As the
Tour Operation Manager
, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of tours -- from itinerary planning and vendor coordination to client servicing and on-ground logistics. You'll ensure that every trip designed by Travel Xprt runs smoothly, profitably, and delightfully for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and manage
domestic and international tour operations
.
Handle
hotel bookings, transport arrangements, sightseeing coordination, and guide services
.
Maintain relationships with
vendors, hotels, and DMC partners
for best deals and service quality.
Supervise the
operations team
to ensure timely confirmations, vouchers, and documentation.
Monitor
tour budgets, costing, and profitability
of each package.
Handle
emergency situations or on-tour issues
with quick decision-making.
Coordinate with the
sales and reservations team
to ensure smooth communication and updates.
Conduct
post-tour feedback analysis
and suggest process improvements.
Maintain
accurate records and reports
on bookings, expenses, and vendor performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Management
(preferred).
3-6 years
of experience in tour operations or travel management.
Strong understanding of
domestic & international destinations
, hotels, and transport networks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in
MS Office, CRM tools, and GDS / booking systems
.
Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail and customer satisfaction.
Leadership qualities with experience in
team management
.
