Job Description

We are looking for passionate Tour Guides whose primary job includes providing informative and engaging tours, leading groups, and ensuring their safety and satisfaction.

Key duties involve delivering historical and cultural insights, answering questions, managing the group's schedule, and maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Strong public speaking, communication, and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Key responsibilities

Lead and guide tours:

Conduct tours for groups, providing educational and engaging information about landmarks, history, and culture.

Ensure group safety:

Prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants, providing clear instructions and guidelines.

Provide information:

Share knowledge about the local area and attractions, including accurate historical and cultural details.

Manage time and logistics:

Follow a set itinerary and schedule, ensuring adequate time is dedicated to each point of interest.

Deliver excellent customer service:

Interact with visitors, answer questions, and handle any issues or unexpected situations with professionalism and a friendly attitude.

Act as a company representative:

Maintain a professional and positive image for the tour company or destination.
Required skills and qualifications

Excellent communication and public speaking skills:

Ability to speak clearly to various audiences and keep them engaged.

Strong knowledge base:

Extensive and accurate knowledge of the area or subject matter being presented.

Organizational and time management skills:

Ability to keep a group on schedule and manage logistics effectively.

Interpersonal and customer service skills:

Charismatic, friendly, and patient demeanor, with the ability to manage a group and their questions.

Physical fitness:

Ability to walk or stand for long periods, and potentially navigate uneven terrain.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
