The Tour Consultant will be responsible for designing, promoting, and selling customized domestic and international tour packages. The role requires handling customer inquiries, preparing itineraries, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring excellent customer service to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Handling & Sales
Respond to customer inquiries through calls, emails, and walk-ins.
Understand client preferences, budget, and requirements to recommend suitable travel options.
Sell and promote holiday packages, ticketing, hotel bookings, and other travel-related services.
Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by providing timely and accurate information.
Tour Planning & Itinerary Preparation
Design customized itineraries including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
Provide clients with travel advice, destination knowledge, visa guidelines, and travel insurance details.
Ensure itineraries are cost-effective and aligned with customer expectations.
Vendor & Partner Coordination
Liaise with hotels, airlines, transport providers, and local agents to secure bookings.
Negotiate rates and ensure quality service delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers for group tours, MICE, and special packages.
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure accuracy of bookings, invoices, receipts, and travel documents.
Guide clients on visa requirements, travel regulations, and insurance policies.
Maintain records of clients, bookings, and payments in the company system.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
Handle pre-tour and post-tour queries, complaints, and feedback.
Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Provide after-sales support and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
Good communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking systems/GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre preferred).
Sales-driven with ability to meet targets.
Customer-oriented, detail-focused, and problem-solving attitude.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
2-5 years of experience as a Travel Consultant / Tour Executive.
Hands-on experience in handling FIT (Free Independent Travelers), group tours, and corporate bookings preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
