Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Total Station Operator

to carry out accurate site measurements, layout, and data collection using Total Station equipment. The role involves supporting the project team in land surveying, construction layout, and data recording for engineering and construction purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate

Total Station

instruments (e.g., Leica, Sokkia, Topcon, Trimble) for land and construction surveying tasks. Conduct topographic and construction site surveys with high precision. Perform

setting out of roads, buildings, utilities

, and other construction elements based on drawings and coordinates. Prepare and maintain survey records, sketches, reports, and digital files. Assist the

Surveyor or Engineer

with layout planning and coordinate conversion. Calibrate, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of Total Station equipment. Download and process field survey data using software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, etc.). Communicate effectively with the project team, contractors, and engineers on-site. Ensure work is completed according to

safety and quality standards

. Verify horizontal and vertical alignment and dimensions at various stages of the project.

Skills and Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field.

3+ years

of experience operating Total Station in construction or land development. Proficient in using

AutoCAD

,

MS Excel

, and

survey-related software

. Good knowledge of construction drawings, coordinates (X, Y, Z), and leveling techniques. Familiarity with GPS/GNSS survey equipment is an added advantage. Ability to work independently and under site conditions. Strong mathematical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.

Work Environment:

Outdoor fieldwork on construction or infrastructure project sites. May require travel to various site locations. Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Pay:

Minimum (Rs.25,000) - Maximum (Based on experience) per month
