Job Description


As a Content Manager at Torry Harris, you will be responsible for strategy, planning, and successful execution of the yearly and monthly content calendar. You will interact with stakeholders across the company and the different business units, to understand IT solutions being rendered to a world-wide customer base. You will distil information collected and put in a roadmap to deliver on our content strategy. You will also work with senior management to edit, proof-read and create proposals and presentations to prospect customers to make an impact.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of internal content writers, digital media campaign professionals, business presentation specialists, corporate communication executives, SEO/SEM specialists and a network of external content experts.

- Plan, create, write, edit, optimize and manage content for blogs, whitepapers, research reports, website pages, case studies, press releases, media stories, branding assets, movie scripts, RFPs, RFQs, business presentations, award write-ups etc.

- Create and plan a content roadmap based on interactions with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the company. Own and maintain the master content calendar and ensure timely delivery.

- Create content for social media and guide the graphics design team according to the needs of the monthly social media content calendar.

- Draft content for sales mailer campaigns, award write-ups and all employer branding channels.

- Identify and implement best technology tools in content authoring, publishing and source control.

- Write content for integrated communication campaigns.

- Craft creative copy for print, online and electronic media.

- Online/offline research, bring refreshing new content ideas and perspectives to the table.

- Manage the entire content-related vendor management lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of writing experience, in a B2B environment, preferably for IT companies.

- 5+ years of content management experience.

- Ability to extract information from technical teams to provide deep, useful content catering to the CXO community.

- Experience in creating infographics with statistical and research data to render meaningful information.

- Outstanding judgment in tone, word choice and sentence/paragraph structure.

- Great research, organizational and learning skills.

- Contemporary writing skills plus a thorough knowledge of English language, technical writing or a related field.

- Ability to decide and suggest image ideas to enrich social media posts, business presentations, proposals, articles/blogs, whitepapers, case studies and webpages.

- Impeccable grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure and style.

- Absolute attention to detail.

- Good team player and ability to manage a large content management team.

- Good understanding of social media, SEO/SEM and keywords.

- Good understanding of the impact of content on the overall marketing communications.

- Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high-quality work and projecting a positive attitude.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint

- Good knowledge of content marketing tools like - SEMRUSH, Ahrefs, Grammarly, Google Trends, Google Analytics, HubSpot, CoSchedule, Buzzsumo, etc.

- Previous experience in writing content on topics like digital marketplaces, IT integration and API / digital economy will be an added advantage.
