Operate milling machines (manual / conventional; CNC if applicable) in the tool room.
Manufacture, modify, and repair dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and tools as per drawings.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
Set up workpieces, select cutting tools, and ensure proper machine settings.
Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per quality standards.
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure safe working conditions.
Coordinate with tool room in-charge and production team for tool requirements.
Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping norms (5S).
