Responsible for leading tool room operations, including maintenance, repair, and improvement of moulds, dies, and tooling used in plastic manufacturing.
Key Duties:
Plan and supervise mould repair, maintenance & modification activities.
Ensure timely availability of tools for production with minimum downtime.
Monitor tool life, maintain tool history records and preventive schedules.
Coordinate with production, quality and design for new mould trials & improvements.
Manage tool room team, work allocation, and ensure adherence to safety & quality standards.
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Tool & Die Making / Mechanical Engineering.
8-12 years experience in tool room and plastic moulding industry.
Strong technical knowledge of moulds, CNC, EDM, fitting & troubleshooting skills.
Leadership, planning and problem-solving ability.
