Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute tool and die manufacturing, maintenance, and modification.

Handle preventive and corrective maintenance of press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.

Ensure all tools are available and in perfect working condition to meet production targets.

Identify tooling issues and implement corrective measures to reduce rework and downtime.

Maintain records for tool history, maintenance schedules, and tool inventory.

Coordinate with production and design teams for tool development and improvement.

Manage tool room manpower and ensure safety and housekeeping standards are maintained.

Handle precision machining operations like milling, grinding, turning, and drilling.

Ensure adherence to quality standards and tolerances in tool making.

Support continuous improvement activities and cost-saving initiatives in tooling.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of tool & die manufacturing, press tools, and sheet metal components.

Proficient in conventional and CNC machining processes.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tool designs.

Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (preferred).

Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Team handling and coordination abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?28,000.00 per month
