Tool Room Engineer

Experience:

Minimum 8 years in Mould Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end

mould manufacturing

operations including design, development, trials, and validation. Lead the

tool room team

in planning, machining, fitting, and assembly activities to meet project timelines and quality standards. Manage and optimize

CNC, EDM, Wirecut, and conventional machining

processes. Collaborate with the

design and product development teams

for DFM (Design for Manufacturability) improvements. Ensure preventive maintenance and upkeep of tool room equipment and measuring instruments. Drive

cost optimization, process improvements, and tooling efficiency

. Handle vendors and suppliers for tool spares and outsourced tool development. Maintain detailed documentation, drawings, and tool history records.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die Making. Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in

injection mould design, manufacturing, and maintenance

. Strong technical understanding of

mould materials, machining, tolerances, and CAD/CAM software

. Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple tooling projects simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
