Job Description

A tool and die maker's roles involve designing, building, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures using blueprints, CAD, and various machines (lathes, mills, grinders, CNC). Key responsibilities include operating machinery, testing for defects, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with engineers.

Fabrication

: Cut, shape, assemble, and finish metal parts/tools using manual and CNC machines.

Design & Interpretation

: Read blueprints, sketches, and CAD files to calculate dimensions and plan production.

Maintenance & Repair

: Perform preventative maintenance and repair damaged tools/dies to ensure continuous production.

Testing & Quality Control

: Inspect, measure, and test finished products to ensure they meet exact specifications and are free of defects.

Machine Operation

: Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, EDMs, and other precision equipment.

Collaboration

: Work with engineers, designers, and production teams to troubleshoot issues and meet deadlines.

Safety & Housekeeping

: Maintain safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
