Key Responsibilities1. Die Manufacturing & Assembly
Manufacturing of dies, jigs, and fixtures as per design/drawing.
Perform die fitting, alignment, polishing, and finishing work.
Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring tools.
2. Tool Room Machine Operation
Operate tool room machines like:
Lathe
Milling
Surface Grinder
Drill Machine
Bench Grinder
Basic knowledge of Wirecut/EDM is an added advantage.
3. Maintenance & Repair
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of dies.
Troubleshoot die-related issues and carry out corrections.
Support production during die trials.
4. Measurement & Quality
Use measuring instruments: Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge.
Ensure quality standards and maintain accuracy.
Follow tool room documentation and safety norms.
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of die-making processes.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Good hand-eye coordination and precision.
Problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
