Role Overview

As a

Tool & Die Maker - Press Tool Maintenance

, you will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of press tools, ensuring smooth production, tool accuracy, and supporting new tool trials and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance of

Press Tools (Progressive / Compound / Single Stage)

Press Tool Assembly, Dismantling, Repair & Fitment Tool Setting, Alignment & Try-outs on Power / Mechanical Presses Troubleshooting of Press Tool Issues (Burrs, Tool Wear, Misalignment, Dimensional Issues) Support in

Tool Trials, Tool Improvements & New Tool Development

Manufacturing & Maintenance of

Tool Spares, Jigs & Fixtures

Maintain Tool Room Documentation, History Cards & Spare Planning Dimensional Inspection of Tool Components & Pressed Parts

Qualification

ITI -

Tool & Die Maker / Tool Room Trade

Required Skills

Hands-on experience in

Press Tool Maintenance & Die Fitting

Strong knowledge of

Press Tools, Power Press Operations & Tooling

Ability to read & interpret

2D / 3D Drawings

Good understanding of

GD&T

Proficient in using measuring instruments (

Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, etc.

) Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills

AutoCAD knowledge - Mandatory
