Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs.
Set up and operate a variety of machine tools (e.g., lathes, grinders, milling machines, CNC equipment) to produce precision tools and dies.
Assemble and test completed tools and dies for proper operation and compliance with specifications.
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing tools and dies as needed.
Inspect finished products to ensure parts meet quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve tooling performance and resolve manufacturing challenges.
Maintain accurate records of tool and die maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in Tool and Die Making preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using manual and CNC machine tools.
Strong knowledge of materials, heat treatment processes, and machining techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills
