Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Tool & Die Maker

to design, manufacture, assemble, maintain, and repair press tools, dies, and fixtures used in sheet metal stamping operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture, assemble, and trial

press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures

as per drawings Maintain and repair existing tools to ensure consistent production quality Attend breakdowns of press tools during production and rectify issues promptly Modify tools as per engineering changes or production feedback Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Design teams for tool improvements Ensure proper tool storage, identification, and preventive maintenance Maintain tool room records, tool history, and spare parts inventory Follow safety standards and 5S practices in the tool room Support new product development and tool trials
Technical Skills & Knowledge

Strong knowledge of

sheet metal press tools

(cutting, bending, forming, progressive dies) Ability to read and interpret

tool drawings and component drawings

Hands-on experience with

lathe, milling, surface grinding, drilling, fitting

operations Understanding of tool steels, heat treatment, and clearances Basic knowledge of press machines and stamping processes
Qualification & Experience

ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making / Fitter / Machinist

Minimum

3-6 years of experience

in a tool room for sheet metal industry Experience in automotive or industrial component manufacturing preferred
Personal Attributes

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Ability to work independently and under pressure Good coordination and communication skills Willingness to work extended hours during tool trials or breakdowns
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
