Responsibilities

Reading and analyzing blueprints and technical drawings Determining metal shapes and tolerances Preparing an outline of the work template before beginning with work Measuring and fabricating metal parts Marking, cutting, and shaping metal parts and blocks to the specified dimensions Filling, grinding, and drilling metals using machine tools Inspecting tool and die parts before assembling Ensuring that the finished dies and tools are free from any defects and deformities Using CAD software to create design templates Performing regular tests to check the quality of the finished tools Ensuring that the work area is kept clean and safe at all times
