Job Description

The Tool Administrator responsibilities are to manage and maintain the suite of monitoring, patching, and system administration platforms used to support our clients. This role will have hands-on experience with IT tools, a keen eye for system optimization, and the ability to manage diverse client environments. The responsibility of this role involves ensuring tools are configured, operational, and delivering the required results to meet both internal and client expectations with an overall goal of support faster response times, seamless interaction, improving SLAs and supporting a high-quality MSP.

Responsibilities



Tool administration and maintenance of monitoring and patching platforms such as LogicMonitor, Automox, Nerdio, SCCM, Intune, WSUS, and others as required. Configuration and optimization of tools to align with client needs, including dashboard creation, alert tuning, and rule management. Integrate tools with other systems within the environment such as ServiceNow, CMDBs, and automation solutions. Support patch deployment processes by configuring patching tools and ensuring updates are delivered across client environments and output patching results. Continuous improvement of tool performance and recommendation of improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Documentation of configurations, procedures, and best practices for tools use and management. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on using and interpreting data from monitoring and patching platforms. Work closely with Client Success Managers and Service Quality Engineers to create additional efficiencies. Support onboarding activities for clients consuming monitoring and patching platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve common problems efficiently. After-hours / weekend work may be required. All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



Proven experience managing, monitoring, and patching tools within an MSP or multi-tenant environment. Experience in tools such as LogicMonitor, Solarwinds, Splunk, ThousandEyes, Automox, WSUS, SCCM, Intune or similar platforms. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, virtualization, storage and endpoint devices. Fundamental understanding of ITIL practices and service management processes. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Ansible, Python) to automate tasks.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
