Role
As a Team Manager in Machine Shop, you will be responsible to plan and execute the daily operations in the Al. Phase Cylinder Head. You will be reporting to the Section Head - Al. Phase CH.
A purpose driven role for you
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Planning & execution of daily module wise CH production, so as to adhere the production demand in engine assembly as per PPC
2. Facilitate the team with required resources so as to meet the module wise production targets on shift basis.
3. Optimizing resources and ensuring the execution of plan so as to meet production targets as per set standards of quality, productivity, cost and timelines.
4. Sustenance of all TPM related activities.
5. Maintaining a healthy employee relationship by motivating them to avoid any chances of ER issues.
6. To achieve IMS and EnMS objectives through adherence of systems and procedures for resource conservation in Section
A Day in the life
1. Calculating daily model wise requirements considering PPC plan and CH finish inventory in section & supermarket.
2. Breaking daily requirements into shift/ line wise targets and providing resources in all lines in own shift.
3. Auditing in-process, quality, safety, poke-yoke, CLRIaudits, hourly production sheet and filling gaps by guiding, directing & supporting team.
4. AM activity to be done on weekly basis as per plan & also during/after PM activity.
Managing & motivating TPM circle members to achieve Zero ABCD for Circle machines.
5. Daily/Weekly communication with team members regarding their personal or professional issues.
Daily reviewing the work performance & motivating them for their work for best work performance individually.

Academic Qualification & Experience
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 3-6 Years of relevant work experience
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 8-12 Years of relevant work experience
Technical Skills/Knowledge
1. Managing TPM activities
2. Implementation of Kaizen
3. Understanding of Quality & Poke-Yoke
4. Promoting Safety at workplace
5. Conducting CLRI audits
6. Maintaining In-process audit sheets
7. Monitoring production costs.
8. Understanding of benchmarking process, formulation of action plan for mitigating risk related to IMS & EnMS
Behavioural Skills
1. Healthy employee relationship to improve E-Connect.
2. Innovative approach for new improvements in department w.r.t. PQCDSM
3. Coordination with support sections
4. Excellent presentation skills and Communication skills
