Key missions of the position: To Support the Business by leading assigned Product line to build, validate and optimise the costs of goods sold (COGS) for winning the Bids and Improve competitiveness. Drive competitiveness monitor reliability and reduce LCC to improve the customer experience.

Main responsibilities:

Tender cost commitment

• To own and feed the COGS /TMC for the Ongoing Tenders and support sales and marketing (On-Time)
• Provide TMC commitment with high carry over ratio
• To liaise with SISCO for getting the Best cost and Prices for various project

TMC Cost reduction:

• Drive TMC reduction through engagement with stakeholders - PUR, OPN, ENGG through should costing, design for cost workshops
• Create a funnel of cost reduction opportunities and drive them through active engagement with stakeholders
• Create business cases for TOTs

Governance

• To collate the COGS/TMC for various tenders and analyse the variance "as bid" and "as sold". Carry over ratio between "as bid" and "as sold"
• Update the Standard catalogue on quarterly basis for assigned product line

• Others: Participate the Global QR/QC to understand the actions taken and understand and take the same in account when doing the risk of Reliability in tenders

Experience and Educational Background

• Minimum 12-18 Years in worked in Heavy Engineering Industry or Railway Industry worked either in any of function i.e Purchase/ Product Costing/Cost Analytics / Should costing /product engineering.
• 3+ Years' experience in Project management
• 3+ Years Experience in working in cross function teams like Sourcing or Engineering
• Ability to work independently in virtual environment
• Educational background: - BE (Mech/Electrical/Electronics) ,MBA Preferred .
• Additional Skills required: - 1) Analytical Mind SET

2) Advanced Excel

3) Business Presentations

4) Exposure to VA/VE and Should cost.

5) Communication and Inter-personnel skills
