Team Lead/ Project Lead

Job Location: Thane

Experience : 9-12 Years

Qualification required: B.E. / B. Tech / M.E / M.Tech - Mechanical / Plastics / P.G Tool & Die Making would be an added advantage with sound knowledge in design could be considered.

Must have skills: New Product Design / Sheet metal design / Plastic product Design/ Mould design / Concept Generation / Prototyping / UGNX/ SolidWorks / Creo

Job Responsibilities:

? Create design concepts and drawings to determine the best product and maintain technical compatibility to develop concepts into real products.

? Understand the requirements and work with different teams to implement new ideas.

? Present product ideas to relevant team members for brainstorming

? Perform market research to understand market requirements and initiate innovative product development.

? Analyze new components, materials, and technologies to evaluate functionality for all new product development.

? The design considers manufacturability, cost, performance, and durability.

? Coordinate with multidisciplinary product launch teams to facilitate product launch as per research findings and in the appropriate market.

? Develop and review design prototypes, perform the test and finalize product design to facilitate mass production.

? Knowledge in GD&T, stack-up analysis, different industrial standards like ANSI, JIS, DIN, etc.

? Design product considering DFM, DFMA & DFMEA as well cost, performance and durability.

? Close coordination with customers.

Desired Skill Set:

? A good grasp of engineering and design principles.

? 5-6 years of core experience in Product design (Plastic, sheet metal design, material handling equipment design, etc.)

? Knowledge in GD&T, Stack-up analysis.

? Good knowledge of any of the 3D modeling software (SolidWorks / Pro-E etc.).
