The Deputy Manager / Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of insurance advisors or agents to achieve sales targets, drive customer acquisition, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of insurance products and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor insurance advisors.
Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Sales & Business Growth:
Drive sales targets through effective planning and execution.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share.
Identify new business opportunities and customer segments.
Customer Relationship Management:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Resolve client queries and complaints promptly.
Promote cross-selling and upselling of insurance products.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure adherence to regulatory and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in insurance sales or team management.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of insurance products and regulatory guidelines.
