Position: Tinkering Lab In-Charge

Location: Chandrakanthi Public School

Reports To: Principal

Job Summary:

The Tinkering Lab In-Charge will manage the school's Tinkering/Innovation Lab, guiding

students through hands-on STEM, electronics, robotics and IT-based projects. The role

focuses on fostering creativity, problem-solving and critical thinking in a safe and engaging

environment.

Key Responsibilities:

? Plan and conduct STEM, robotics, electronics and tinkering workshops for students.

? Maintain lab equipment, electronic kits, tools and materials; ensure safety protocols

are followed.

? Mentor and inspire students to explore science, technology, engineering and

innovation through hands-on activities.

? Collaborate with teachers to integrate lab activities with curriculum objectives.

? Document student projects, experiments and lab activities.

? Organize exhibitions, competitions and school-level innovation events.

? Stay updated with emerging STEM and electronics trends and introduce relevant tools

and activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

? ITI / Diploma in Electronics or related field.

? Hands-on experience with robotics, electronics, coding and STEM kits.

? Strong organizational and communication skills.

? Passion for innovation and ability to mentor students effectively.

? Experience in school STEM/Tinkering labs is preferred.
